Description
It is the Government?s intent to issue a Firm Fixed Price requirement for NSN:8475-00-164-7108(s), Liner, Absorbent, Flying Helmet in accordance with Drawing 70360, Rev F dated 9/10/79; Design Control Reference 70360-10 (medium) or 70360-30 (large) and DL70360, Pattern 70359, Rev D dated 13 March 92. This acquisition will include a Base Year and Two Option Years. Base year minimum quantity is 32,300 ea. Base Year maximum quantity is 46,000 ea. The minimum quantity for the two one-year term options is 32,300 ea. The maximum quantity for the two one-year term options is 40,500 ea. This acquisition will be a 100% total Small Business Set-Aside. Deliveries will be in the Continental United States. First production lead- time will be 180 days. The solicitation will utilize Best Value Source Selection procedures. Offerors will be required to submit a technical proposal consisting of but not limited to Past Performance, Industrial Mobilization and DLA Mentoring Business Agreement,. Two deliveries starting 180 days after date of award, F.O.B. Destination to New Cumberland Pa. and Tracy Ca. are required. A First Article inspection is required and shall consist of two (2) samples of each size meeting all requirements as specified on drawing 70360. Any defect shall be cause for rejection of the First Article. Inspection shall be at DSCP. Government reserves the right to award on a basis other than price alone. All materials are contractor furnished. Include notes 1, 9, 26. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.mil/home after (11 November 2003). From the Gateway home page, select ?Search RFPs? from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFQ you wish to view. In addition, you can enter DSCP C&T FSCs and NSNs to receive notification of RFPs. The Gateway will send all registered users an e-mail notification of RFP solicitations based on your FSC and NSN profile. The NSN notification will contain a link that can connect users directly to a digital copy of the solicitation on the Internet. The solicitations will be in a downloadable, printable format when viewed with an Adobe Acrobat Reader. Free software is available at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.
