- DTCG87-04-B-643012 Construction of a U. S. Coast Guard Helipad at Wolf Point, Ketchikan, Alaska. The contractor shall provide all materials, supplies, equipment, transportation and perform the labor to provide site excavation, grading and compaction of an existing gravel pad; placement and compaction of base course material; construction of a concrete, approximately 100 feet by 100 feet, helipad with markings; installation of radio activated lighting; marking existing overhead utility poles and high voltage lines; install new electrical services, new electrical hut and install guardrail. A firm-fixed-price contract will be awarded. The time for completion of work on this project is June 30, 2004. The estimated project cost range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 dollars. The industry standard NAICS code is #237990 and the applicable size standard is $28.5 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Solicitation documents, may be accessed for download from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be on or about October 31, 2003) at the following site: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on this website. The technical data package (specifications and drawings) will only be available through a link in FedBizOpps to the Federal Technical Data Solution (FEDTeDS) website. Firms must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and FEDTeDS database to be able to access the technical data package. Prospective bidders are responsible for checking the web site for amendments up to the date and time for receipt of proposals. A planholders list will not be available from the Contracting Office. Vendors are encouraged to register their interest by entering their information in the Interested Vendor list for this solicitation in FedBizOpts. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside pursuant to the Small Business Act, (15 U.S.C. 631). All responsible small business concerns may submit an offer which shall be considered by the U.S. Coast Guard.
