- Description
- Procurement for a range of NSNs. These items include NSN 4320-01-495-3633 - Portable Mark III Pump. In accordance with Forest Service Spec. 5100-274C dated 9/97 and Amendment 1 dated 2/01. The item must be pre-qualified by the USDA Forest Service San Dimas Technology and Developement Center prior to award. NSN 5110-00-293-2339 - Ax, Single Bit. In accordance with Forest Service Spec. 5100-9D dated 11/99 and Drawing MEDC 548 Rev. B dated 11/99. First article samples will be required from the awarded contractor. NSN 5120-01-240-2120 - Combination Tool. In accordance with Forest Service Spec. 5100-325A dated 2/94 and MEDC Drawing 736 Revision G dated 9/03. First Article samples will be required from the awarded contractor. NSN 5120-01-296-3592 - Handle, Replacement Combination. In accordance with USDA Forest Service Drawing MEDC 736, Revision G dated 9/03. First Article Samples will be required from the awarded contractor. NSN 5510-01-045-9198 - Plastic Felling Wedge. The wedge shall be solid, 30.5 ? 1.25cm long,; 8.00 cm wide, minimum; and 3.10 cm thick, minimum, at the thick end; tapering evenly to a thickness of no greater than 0.40 cm at the thin end. The wedge shall be composed of molded Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) in accordance with ASTM D4673-98 (112), and shall be light blue in color, any shade is acceptable. Plastic meeting the requirements of ASTM D1788 (discontinued) Type 2, Grade 2, Class 4, is acceptable. NSN 8465-00-293-3369 - Leather Ax Sheath. In accordance with Forest Service Specification 5100-314C dated 9/78, and Drawing MEDC 623 dated 10/78. The sheath shall be the Type D of the specification. The procurement will be set aside for small business for NSNs ending 2339, 9198 and 3369. This will be a requirements contract for the period January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2005 with three one-year option periods which may be exercised and the option of the Government. All responsible bidders may submit a bid.
