Description

This is an update to the previous notification issued for a Facility Security Survey and Risk Assessment for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. An updated SOW and answers to questions posed by vendors will be forthcoming in a subsequent announcement. Questions concerning the conduct of an assessment require immediate clarification. Only the vendor selected for this effort will have access to BEP or contractor facilities; a pre-award site survey cannot be conducted due to the volume of respondees and security considerations. Based on this, the BEP will define a level of effort for this proposal in terms of number of personnel and length of the effort required, in the amendment to the SOW which will follow this announcement. In addition, any vendor attempting to surveill, view or otherwise monitor the BEP or its vendor facilities without the permission of the BEP or its vendor facilities will be subject to arrest and/or detention by BEP, contractor, or law enforcement security personnel. That permission will be granted only to the firm winning this contract, and will be done only after a contract award is made. The estimated date for release of a revised SOW and answers to vendor questions is one week from the date of this announcemenet.
