Description

NAWCWD, China Lake intends to procure up to 300 LPU-37/B collars with C02 cylinders on an other than competitive basis with Simula Aerospace & Defense Group, Inc of Phoenix, AZ as a firm fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N68936-00-G-0103 for LOW PROFILE FLOTATION COLLARS. The contractor shall produce the LPU-37/P to the approved drawing 830AS270 revision B, tan color code 33446 in accordance with FED-STD-595 or commercial equivalent. Simula retains proprietary rights and is the only source capable of producing the LPU-37/P collar. Lot acceptance testing ratio for Order 0007 is 10%. Delivery shall be 14 weeks after the date of order. FOB: Hurlburt Field, Florida. The solicitation will be issued on or about 31 October 2003 with a response date of 14 November 2003 and will be available through the 2.0 Contracts Competency home pages at: https://contracts.nawcwd.navy.mil/rfp-nawc.htm. Anticipate award date: 1 December 2003. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the Agency. Interested parties other than Simula must respond in writing (via mail, e-mail or fax) demonstrating your experience and capabilities in Low Profile Flotation Collars. Note 22 and 26 applies.
