- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a delivery order under BOA N00019-03-C-0003 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation to conduct conceptual trade studies to refine design requirements and identify configurations that meet CH-53E Service Life Extension Program requirements. Engineering studies to be conducted include, but are not limited to: Airframe Tail Structure, Tail Rotor Adequacy/Handling Qualities, and Loads/Criteria clarification. Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, and proprietary technical data required to perform these task and within the necessary time frame.
