- This procurement is unrestricted; all responsible sources may submit a quotation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number N00206-04-Q-G007applies and is issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 01-17 and DFARS REV 20031001. This requirement is for a fixed price contract for BILL BOARD ADVERTISEMENT, Location site: I-10 East & Esplanade (out); Pontchartrain & Clio (inc); I-10 East & Esplanade (out), to read YOU WILL SERVE AND PROTECT and YOU WILL EXPAND YOUR WORLD (rotary) www>navalreserve.com, 1-800-USA-USNR ? NAVAL RESERVE STAY STRONG performance period: 11/17/03 thru 11/16/0. Any interested contractors should contact Pat Tapes at (504) 678-2515 , fax (504)678-2430 or by e-mail patricia.tapes@navy.mil. Service is required 10 days after award of contract. Acceptance shall be made at once AD starts. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerrors - Commercial Items, applies. Addendum to FAR 52.214-4: paragraph (h), Multiple Awards ? delete entire paragraph and substitute ?AWARD?. The government intends to (award a single) contract resulting from this solicitation.? paragraph (o) Warranty -- add: "Additionally, the government will accept the contractor's commercial warranty." Add the following addendum clause: FAR 52.211-5, New Material. The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial items applies with the following applicable clauses for paragraph (b): FAR 52.203-6, Restrictions on Subcontractor Sales to the Government--Alternate I; FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity, FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Veterans; FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; FAR 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era. DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, applies with the following clauses applicable for paragraph (b): DFARS 252.225-7012, Preference for certain domestic commodities, and DFARS 525.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program. The government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose quotation is the most advantageous to the government considering price and price-related factors. This solicitation will be evaluated on the following factors: price related, technical and past performance are equal in importance. Quotations must be received no later than 3:00p.m., central time, on 11/7/03.
