- NOTICE: THIS IS A DIRECTED PROCUREMENT Project Name: Appraisal Services, Tract 04-104, Lakeview Company, Lake Mead NRA, Clark County, Nevada. Solicitation, Request For Quotation No. Q8074040122. The National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior is soliciting quotations from firms in the Greater Las Vegas, Nevada area for an appraisal - Tract 04-104 (Lakeview), addressing all three approaches to value of a Hotel and Casino complex located within Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Nevada. Performance of work on this appraisal will begin on or about November 4, 2003 and be completed by January 4, 2004. Contract duration is 60 calendar days. The NAICS code for this project is 531320 and the small business size is $1.5 Million. This is a BEST VALUE procurement. The Government reserves the right to award on the basis of BEST VALUE. The non-price factors shall be past performance and quality. Award on the basis of BEST VALUE will be the quoter who the Government determines can best accomplish the necessary work to satisfy the requirements set forth in the scope of work in a manner most advantageous to the Government. The criteria for award to be based on BEST VALUE to the Government is listed as follows in descending order of relative importance: (1) The appraiser shall be State of Nevada certified; (2) Demonstrated satisfactory performance in preparing market value appraisals of casino and hotel property located within Southern Nevada; and (3) Cost/Price. This quotation will be issued on October 22, 2003 to appraisal firms in the Greater Las Vegas area. Responses will be due on November 3, 2003. Individual requests for this quotation package will NOT be accepted. Responses from quoters will be accepted in hard copy format at the following address: National Park Service, PGSO, 1111 Jackson Street, Suite 700, Oakland, CA 94607, Attn; Contracting Officer.
