Description

NA This notice is for information purposes. The Government has completed its Market Research and concluded only Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, Carson, CA possesses the unique capabilities to provide the Government with an internal design change to the FBC B2 Computer, specifically to integrate a new Solid State Hard Drive. The Government requires a modification to the FBCB2 Systems computers to improve severe operating environment performance. Northrop Grumman has been the responsible total system integrat or for the FBCB2 system and has controlled the design. All FBCB2 Computers have been procured through Northrop Grumman; it is anticipated that this work will result in an Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) to the FBCB2 Computer systems. This procurement i s to be acquired on a sole source basis as a modification to contract DAAB07-00-D-E501 with Northrop Grumman Mission Systems. Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been approved in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) an d FAR 6.302-1.
