- This planning PR is initiated to obtain a firm fixed price requirement type contract for the purchase of Antenna in support of the AN/APR-46A(V)1: NSN:5985-01-385-0743EW, P/N: 754060-001, QTY:16 Basic Year QTY:1ST OUT YEAR BEQ:6 NSN:5985-01-398-1061EW, P/N: 635195-001, QTY: 5 Basic Year QTY:1ST OUT YEAR BEQ:4 The approximate issue/response date will be 4 December 2003. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to restrict competition to the qualified source only, EDO Reconnaissance and Surveillance Systems (formerly Condor Systems), 18705 Madrone Parkway, Morgan Hill, California. Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c )(1), Only One or a Limited Number of Responsible Sources, and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government has no data for manufacture of these items. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
