- Description
- Addition to Building 163, Temple VA Medical Center, Temple, Texas. At the first floor level (gound Level)the addition will house Spinal Cord Injury Clinic and Women's Clinic in approx 13,000 GSF. The addition will include a basement of approx. 3000 GSF that will house HVAC equipment for the addition. A stair will be provided to serve as an emergency exit. The project will include a total of approx. 16,000 new GSF and renovation of 5500 gross square feet. The structural system will match the existing building (drilled piers, pipe space and concrete frame). The existing pneumatic tube system will be extended. Project will address move of biohazard lab from Temple to Waco if necessary. See numbered notes 1 and 24.
