- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for Police Telephone Device this device will be attached to a telephone and a personal computer with three main components: telephone interface, recorder, and archive device. Quantity: 1 ea (SEE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK). The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business (see numbered note 1). The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code 334210, with a business size standard is 1000 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-04-0077. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be price. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotation may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, and point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, NAICS code, business size status, and Duns number. Quotation are due October 31, 2003 by 2:30 P.M. Quotations may be mailed to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Office of Procurement, Attn: Rosa Lee , 14th and C Street, S.
