- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for Service Agreement for Emergency Service calls and hardware and software maintenance on specific components within the computer security document design system, 1. BG-3800/100 Image Setter, 2. FastRIP/TIFF4, 3. Dual Channel FlexRIP to ESKO Graphic Imagesetter, FlexRIP Kernel, Postscrip Input Channel, FastLane Input Channel, Screening, 4. FastRIP/Proofer Software (HP) for fiscal year 2004, Bureau of Engraving and Printing is requested HOURLY CHARGE . The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is set-side for small business (see numbered note 1). The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code 421430, with a small business size standard is 100 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-04-0075. The resulting purchase order shall be not-to-exceed, billable at established rates. All interested firms is requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS numbers, size status (that is, small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule, please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due by 2:30 P.M. on October 31, 2003. Quotations may be mailed to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Office of Procurement, Attn: Rosa Lee, 14th and C Street, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20228-001 or faxed to Rosa Lee at 202-874-2200.
