- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to procure 7 ULAS units on a sole source basis from Lockheed Martin Information Systems, Orlando FL. ULAS is a programmable instrument that provides dynamic loading for use during testing of avionics systems. The requirement will be fulfilled via a modification to the existing contract. Lockheed Martin, as the integrator, is the only known source that can ensure seamless interaction with existing Test Program Sets (TPS)and the only known company with the knowledge base to produce the equipment without creating the need to redesign the TPSs. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responses must be received within 15 days of this synopsis notice. A determination not to open this requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
