- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intend to issue a small purchase order, on a sole source basis, to Amherst Systems, Inc., a Subsidiary of Northrop Grumman for procurement of in-service engineering support for fielded Mobile Remote Emitter Simulator (MRES) Systems. The MRES Systems allow tactical aircrews to identify, evaluate and react/suppress various EW threats. Northrop Grumman is the sole manufacturer of the MRES and as such, is the only firm that can provide the services to meet the Government's requirement. See Numbered Note 22.
