- The VA National Acquisition Center will issue Solicitation RFP-797-NC-03-0037, for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs and the Dept. of Defense's requirements of the following item: RANITIDINE HCL 150 MG., TAB., 60s - Est. Annual Usage: 735,876 BT -- RANITIDINE HCL 150 MG., TAB., 100s - Est. Annual Usage: 54,627 BT -- RANITIDINE HCL 150 MG., TAB., 500s or 1,000s - Est. Annual Usage: 516,390 BT or 258,195 BT -- RANITIDINE HCL 300 MG., TAB., 30s or 100s - Est. Annual Usage: 107,580 BT or 32,274 BT-- RANITIDINE HCL 300 MG., TAB., 250s or 1,000s - Est. Annual Usage: 71,848 or 17,962 BT -- Contractor is required to propose a price for both strengths of this product, in the desired sizes, at a minimum, in order to be considered for an award. If the offorer is not the manufacturer, a copy of the signed agreement between the vendor and the manufacturer must be submitted with the proposals. The agreement must be for the maximum term of the contract. Indian Health Service and Bureau of Prisons may submit additional requirements, but the Solicitation will clearly state whether these two agencies are included, and if so, what their additional annual usage is expected to be. The contract period will be for a period of one year, plus four one-year options. Distribution will be through the VA Prime Vendor and DoD's Prime Vendors. The Solicitation will be available for downloading on or about 11/3/03, at the VA Office of Acquisition and Materiel Management's internet webb site at http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. Offers will be due 11/17/03.
