- The USDA, Forest Service, Southern Region is soliciting quotes for Exclusive-Use, Type III Helicopter services for prescribed fire and fire suppression support for a 120-day period. The solicitation will be posted on this website on or about October 29, 2003. The designated base will be at the National Forests and Grasslands in Lufkin, Texas. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. See Numbered Notes 1, 12 and 13.
