- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The RFQ number is DTCG34-04-Q-6WH021. This RFQ is issued for total Small-Business Set-aside. The following are requirements for Berthing Area Equipment for a ship: Thirty (30) Locker, Type 4, modified to one door, 18? W x 22? D x 75? H. Fifty (50) Berth, Type VI, Style 2 with light and tracks, 79 ?? L x 27 ?? W x 60 ?? H, mattress clearance of 20?. Delivery will be FOB destination to Coast Guard Integrated Support Command Honolulu, 400 Sand Island Parkway, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819-4398. Acceptance of the units will be at destination. The contractor shall extend to the government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the government. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price purchase order. The Government anticipates awarding one purchase order resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to this synopsis/solicitation and the best value to the Government based on price and availability. The RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-16. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332999, and the size standard is 500 employees. All vendors are to include with their quotes, a completed copy of Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, which may be downloaded from http://www.arnet.gov/far . The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) terms and conditions apply to this RFQ: Provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; the Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, the Clause at 52-219-6, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, including subparagraphs 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.225-1, Buy American Act-Supplies, 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer Central Contractor Registration; which can be downloaded at http://www.arnet.gov/far.
