- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, DTCG81-04-Q-3YT001, is issued as an unrestricted Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and provisions are available via internet address: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 721110 and Small Business Size Standard in dollars is $6.0M. Item Description: Lodging-45 double-occupancy rooms, from (check in) November 16, 2003 through December 22, 2003 (check out), furnished with linens, housekeeping, telephone, cable T.V. services, and parking. The geographic location for consideration is limited to facilities located in or not more than one mile from Historic Olde Town Portsmouth, Virginia. Include in your proposal the distance (mileage) from your facility to Historic Olde Town Portsmouth, VA. Include all available amenities (at no additional cost), check in and check out times at your facility. Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Provisions that applies to this RFQ: 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000), 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999), and 52.215-5, Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and location factors considered, AND COMPLIANT WITH THE HOTEL AND MOTEL FIRE SAFETY ACT OF 1990. OFFEROR SHALL INCLUDE ITS FEMA NUMBERS WHICH IS REGISTERED WITH THE U.S. FIRE ADMINISTRATION. FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items (May 2001) MUST AND SHALL be completed and submitted with the RFQ. FAR Clause that applies to this RFQ: 52.232-8, Discount for Prompt Payment (May 1997).
