- 150,000 lb. Horizontal Load Test Machine (used to test wire rope, chain, web and mesh slings, hooks, shackles, eye bolts, and swivels used in rigging). Quantity: 1 each. Requests for Specifications can be sent by FAX (760-577-6174), E-Mail (erdmannsm@barstow.usmc.mil), or Mail (Commanding Officer, Contracting & Purchasing, Box 110340, Barstow, California 92311-5050). Award will be made on Best Value using the following Evaluation Factors: Technical, Price, and Past Performance. Interested parties will be provided a copy of the specifications. All responsible sources will be considered. THE AWARD WILL BE UNRESTRICTED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are bei ng requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
