Description
NA The US Army Intelligence and Security Command, Fort Belvoir,VA intends to award a sole source contract to Battelle Memorial Institute, Columbus OH. The contract will be a base year and four one year options. The effort is for the acquisition of research an d manufacturing services to identify, and test foreign toxic chemical, biological, smoke, and flame compounds and related equipment as well as to develop computer software to store, retrieve and manipulate Chemical, Biological and Radiological technologic al(CBRTech) information. The contractor MUST have a certified surety laboratory, a TOP SECRET facility clearance and personnel with TOP SECRET clearance. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. Interested parties may identify the ir interest and capability to respond to this requirement. No product substitutions/equivalent products will be accepted. All responses must clearly document that the company has a certified surety laboratory and its availability and a Top Secret facility clearance in place. All inquiries must be addressed in writing to Mr.Matthew Klink, Contract Specialist, COMMANDER USAINSCOM, IAPC-DOC, 8825 Beulah Street, Ft. Belvoir, VA, at email address mrklink@inscom.army.mil. Responses to this notice must be received within fifteen (15) days of this electronic posting. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be co nsidered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Statement of Work is available for review at the INSCOM website. Go to www.inscom.army.mil, then under the column INSCOM organizations select Contracting Activ ities, then select solicitations, then select CBRTech Statement of Work (SOW) (unclassified version) to review a sanitized version of the proposed Statement of Work.
