Description
This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items: Patient Health Care Education in accordance with the following statement of work: Provide 52nd Medical Group Spangdahelm AFB, Germany (Hospital) complete continuing education program, titled ?HealthNet? on videocassette, as well as the Internet. Provide Hospital a Patient Education program consisting of a series on health and wellness information. HealthNet. Each primary healthcare professional within Hospital, will receive accredited Continuing Education Units (CEU's) and (CME?s) Continuing Medical Education that are required to maintain licensure and recertification. All Continuing Education programs are 50 minutes in length and carry at least one contact hour or more of credit, including Administration, which is accredited by the American College of Healthcare Executives. All primary care programs are accredited for two or three years from their premier date. Hospital will continue to receive annually a minimum of 200 original premier staff education programs, each with copying permission for use within your facility. Provide Hospital in advance with a monthly listing of HealthNet titles. Media Format. Deliver each month 15?18 new HealthNet Continuing Education programs on videocassette or CD-ROM as well as on-line. Annual Required Training (Safety Storm) is provided to assist you with JCAHO/OSHA requirements. Homeland Security and Readiness Training is provided as part of this program on-line. Examples of these programs are The Response to Biological Warfare and Terrorism (12 hour program) along with a six program series on ?Advanced Topics on Medical Defense Against Biological and Chemical Agents?. Tracking. Staff Directors can utilize the Internet for tracking CE/CME usage and obtaining reports for the entire facility, while each staff member has access to his or her transcript on-line. Detailed tracking data may be obtained in a number of customized formats. Certification. Supply syllabi on all programs. Posttests will be handled on the Internet and CE certificates can be printed immediately. Testing and CE certificate delivery are provided at no further cost to Hospital or its staff members. Staff managers can also utilize the Internet for tracking CE usage and obtaining reports. Provide documentation to each CE participant (annually) and to the subscribing hospital (quarterly) of the CEU?s earned. The documentation will in all cases be sufficient to satisfy the documentation requirements imposed by regulatory or accrediting agencies. Patient Education. In addition to the staff education programs, hospital will continue to be provided with Patient Education including health and wellness information. The Patient Education component consists of programs that are easy to understand and provide valuable information on health related topics or equal. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F53SGL32590500. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13.
