- This is a Sources Sought synopsis. This is not a solicitation. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to identify other qualified sources prior to the release of any potential solicitation to procure the following Cryptographic COMSEC Equipment item:<br> Annual Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) 200 each, Benign Fill Module Kit, NSN: Not Stock Listed (NSL) P/N: N/A, Size: 6.5"W X 2"H X 8.25"D, Weight: 2.5 lbs<br> This Kit allows the conversion of the MYK-16/A Ground Unit and the MYK-17/A Ground Unit to the current "B" version. The current source for this Cryptographic COMSEC Equipment item is Mykotronx, Inc., CAGE: 6S598. Detailed technical data and drawings for the manufacture of this Cryptographic COMSEC Equipment item is not available from the Government. Any interested source that can provide this requirement is invited to submit a written qualification package including the following information: 1) contractor name and phone number, 2) a brief statement detailing capabilities to provide such item, 3) a list of names and phone numbers of references to whom you have provided this item, and 4) type of business. Interested sources are requested to submit a package by close of business on 7 November 2003, no later than 4:00 p.m. local time. All data received in response to this announcement marked or designated as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside the Government. Availability of any formal solicitation will be announced separately. The Sources Sought announcement is requested for informational purposes only. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this synopsis and submittals will not be returned to the sender.
