- PR Number: IDT03084005100 FSC: 5340 Nomenclature: Digital Combination Locks RFP: Issue Date October 31, 2003 This amendement is to extend the opening date of the solicitation. RFP opening date is extended to October 31, 2003 with a closing date of December 15, 2003. The solicitation is an UNRESTRICTED ACQUISITION for a stock Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) to be awarded under Commercial Procedures. The IQC will be for a two-year base period, with three one-year options. The procurement is for 3 competitive core NSNs. The first NSN is 5340-01-498-2758, second NSN is 5340-01-498-2759 and the third NSN is 5340-01-498-2760. The total yearly estimated value for the 3 items is $9,021,000.00. This procurement also contains a 10% guaranteed minimum. Drawings are available at time of solicitation. Delivery is as follows: 60 day deliveries to stock after date of order. The first NSNs is Qualified Products List (QPL) item, the second and third NSNs have a FAT (First Article Test) requirement. Price and past performance are of equal value in determining which offer represents the ?best value? to the Government. Offerors are required to provide a business and technical proposal; further details to be contained within the solicitation package. Formal Source Selection applies as contained in the solicitation parts FAR 52.212-1 and FAR 52.212-2. Source Inspection requirements apply as contained in the solicitation.
