Description

The United States Coast Guard intends to purchase up to two 87 foot Coastal Patrol Boats from Bollinger Shipyards Lockport, L.L.C., 8365 Highway 308 South, Lockport, LA 70374-0250. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) is 336611. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to this procurement are not available and cannot be provided by the Government. This information is proprietary to Bollinger Shipyards Lockport, L.L.C. The additional two Coastal Patrol Boats will provide necessary compatibility with the existing fleet of fifty 87 Foot Coastal Patrol Boat vessels. Shipbuilding by Bollinger Shipyards Lockport, L.L.C. will provide the required full compatibility with the existing fleet. Up to two 87 Foot Coastal Patrol Boats will be purchased. No substitutes shall be considered at this time. Offerors who can furnish the identical class of vessels listed above may submit, in writing, a proposal substantiated by technical data, brochures, pictures, etc., to include pricing data. All responses must be received within 45 calendar days of this notice, addressed to United States Coast Guard (USCG), Contracting Officer, USCG Coastal Patrol Boat Project Resident Office, P.O. Box 558, 8365 Highway 308, Building 25, Lockport, LA 70374-0558. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. See Numbered Note 22. Award shall be made by the close of business on 16 December 2003 or when funding is available. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to the Industrial Pier located at United States Coast Guard Integrated Support Command (ISC), 4640 Urquhart Street, New Orleans, LA 70117.
