Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for the Drydock and Repair of Torpedo Retriever Boat (TRB-32). Performance is expected to commence on 01 December 2003 and be completed no later than 12 December 2003. The repairs anticipated involve the following work items: Docking Services, Replacement of Stern Edge Torpedo Rollers, Preserve Underwater Hull and Freeboard, Replace Hull and Rudder Zinc Anodes, Repack Port and Starboard Rudder Posts, Repair Hull Leaks, Undocking Vessel. The Government will pay the cost of transporting Government Furnished Property to the contractor?s plant. For each offeror, this transportation cost will be added to the amount of the offer in order to determine the overall cost of the supplies to the Government. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued by 24 October 2003. The closing date of the solicitation will be on 14 November 2003. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a request for quotation is N00253-04-Q-0007. The solicitation document incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-16. N00253-04-Q-0007 will be ready for download on or about 24 October 2003 at: http://kpt-eco.kpt.nuwc.navy.mil. Select/click Request for Quotes, and N00253-04-Q-0007 will be listed with the list of available RFQs. Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) and applicable assigned rating for this requirement is DO-S1. Commercial Simplified Procedures shall be used for this procurement. Firms interested in submitting quotes must (1) complete the pricing providing unit prices and extended pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the required clauses, ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Regi stration database (http://ccr.gov). No paper copies of RFQ/amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to this RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer non-responsive and may result in rejection. See numbered Note 1
