- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman Corporation, Rolling Meadows, IL to procure Electro-Optical (EO) Console maintenance services for the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Program. The Contractor will be required to provide maintenance for EO Consoles throughout the world that are specifically configured for ATFLIR support. The period of performance will be approximately one year from the award date and will contain two (2) options for an additional year each, for a possible total period of performance of approximately three (3) years. The government intends to procure these services under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The government does not own sufficient data, drawings, software code or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All qualified sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should reference N68335-04-R-0005. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The Navy anticipates the award to be a cost plus fixed fee contract. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
