Description

The principle features of the work include furnishing and installing approximately 8,000 linear feet of fiber optic cable, various rack-mounted interconnect panels, various fiber optic cable interconnect panels and all accessories required to complete the fiber optic cable system. The fiber optic cable is required for expansion of a microwave communication system furnished and installed by others. The work is situated at various locations in the state of Wyoming, and in the vicinity of: Cody, Thermopolis, Riverton, Glendo and Guernsey; or in the counties of Park, Fremont, and Platte. The work is to be completed approximately 90 days after receipt of notice to proceed. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) package will be available on or around November 13, 2003 and bids are tentatively due in the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, MT 59101 on or around December 16, 2003. All reasonable sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. This is a Full and Open IFB. The Standard Industrial Classfication Code is Y127. The North American Industry Classification System code is 238210. To receive a copy of the IFB, fax a request to the Bureau of Reclamation, Attention: Andy Fox or Hart Blackeagle at (406) 247-7798. The fax must include the contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, federal tax identification number and Dun and Bradstreet number.
