- UPDATE: Pre-proposal conference scheduled for October 15th has been postponed until October 28, 2003. The solicitation packet should be uploaded on or about October 15, 2003 and the pre-proposal information can be be found in section L of the solicitation. <BR> DESCRIPTION: An indefinite quantity multi-discipline construction, repair, and remodel contract. Work shall include the preparation of Job Order Proposals to include project scoping, cost estimating, and development of Job Order specific specifications/requirements. The Contractor shall provide for all labor, material, supplies, transportation, supervision and all other necessary items for complete and usable projects, performing all work in complete compliance with all plans, drawings, and specifications issued. Common trades which may be needed include carpentry, plumbing, electrical, laborers, power equipment operators, cement workers, painters, and other trades common to the construction industry. The Contractor will be required to perform multi-discipline construction, repair and remodeling work using these trade workers. Work may be performed in the following communities: Ketchikan, Thorne Bay, Craig, Wrangell, Petersburg, Sitka, Hoonah, Yakutat, Juneau, Alaska. Contract time will be 730 days. Contract amount is Min. $25,000 not to exceed $1,000,000. A pre-bid conference will be conducted at the Ketchikan Federal Building on October 15, 2003. Participation by telephone conference will be available. The solicitation will be posted to the Tongass National Forest Internet Homepage on or about October 1, 2003. It will be the responsibility of the bidder to check the web site for any amendments to the solicitation. In case we are unable to post an amendment to our web site please provide the contact information that is requested when you download the solicitation. Potential offerors are requested to obtain the solicitation by way of the Internet if possible. Alternatively a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax to 907.228.6254. Fax requests for the solicitation should reference solicitation R10-05-04-01. Telephone request for the solicitation will not be honored. Offers will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation issue date. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, you will be automatically notified via email of any changes to the project. To register, select ?Register to Receive Notification? and follow the steps. Follow the same procedure for EACH project. PLAN HOLDERS LISTS: The Interested Vendors List (IVL) has replaced the plan Holders Lists that was previously available with solicitation packages. Access the IVL for all projects through the FedBizOpps website. To register as an interested vendor, select ?Register as an Interested Vendor? and follow the steps. Follow this procedure for EACH project of interest. Use the Register as Interested Vendor option to add your company name to the IVL and then view or print the IVL by selecting ?View List of Interested Vendors? for each project.
