- Description
- The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Grand Forks Human Nutrition Research Center, located in Grand Forks, North Dakota, requires linen service to supply all plant, labor, supervision, material, vehicles and equipment necessary to provide linen/laundry service for towels, laboratory coats, wash cloths, scrub shirts, scrub pants, mats, pillow cases, sheets, shop coats, mops, custodial shirts, ladies smocks, light outdoor jackets and coveralls. Once each year the contractor will perform an on-site inventory of all items furnished with excess items returned to the contractor and lost or destroyed items in the possession of the Government shall be paid for by the Government at the fair market value for the items mutually agreed between the Government and awarded contractor. Linen shall be picked up between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. once a week, except Federal holidays. Deliveries shall be made between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. once a week, except Federal holidays. A base year with three option years will be included for quote. OFFERORS SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FAXING A REQUEST FOR A COPY OF THIS SOLICITATION TO THE ATTENTION OF LEE SHEA @ 970/229-5531. POTENTIAL OFFERORS ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING MANDATORY INFORMATION TO ESTABLISH A BIDDERS MAILING LIST: COMPANY NAME, STREET ADDRESS, TELEPHONE, FAX AND CONTACT NAME. THIS INFORMATION MUST BE INCLUDED IN THE FAX'D SOLICITATION REQUEST TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER AS WELL AS REFERENCING SOLICITATION NO. RFQ-001-82HW-04 REVISED. REQUESTS SENT BY E-MAIL ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. FAX'D QUOTATIONS ARE ACCEPTABLE TO LEE SHEA @ 970/229-5531 ON OR BEFORE OCTOBER 23, 2003 BY 5:00 P.M. The NAICS is 812331 with a small business size of $12 Million average annual receipts for the last three years. Specifications are contained in Solicitation No. RFQ-001-82HW-04 REVISED which will be available on or about October 14, 2003. The anticipated award date is October 31, 2003. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Agency.
