- Description
- The United States Secret Service intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Reuters America, Inc., 311 South Wacker Drive, Suite 1100, Chicago, IL 60606 for news information services. This notice is neither a request for quotations nor a solicitation of offers. Based on the requirements of this procurement action, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement, on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available. Only written e-mailed (michael.velez@usss.dhs.gov) inquiries to this notice and received no later than 4:00 pm EST, October 15, 2003, will be addressed. The Government anticipates an award date on or about October 17, 2003. The Government will not be responsible for any costs in the preparation of responses to this announcement.
