Description

The U.S. Agency for International Development Mission in Pakistan(USAID/Pakistan) is seeking competitive proposals from firms already doing business in Pakistan, to implement a school rehabilitation and construction project in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) of Pakistan. Through this project, new buildings may be constructed for identified shelterless schools and existing buildings of other identified schools may be refurbished. A Requirements-type contract is planned, under which it is anticipated that a series of task orders for firm-fixed-price design/build services and some ancillary services will be negotiated. This competition is limited to local firms (i.e. firms doing business in Pakistan) pursuant to USAID regulation, policy and procedures on ?Local Procurement? particularly those pertaining to engineering and construction service contracts valued at $5 million or less.
