Description

The solicitation DTMA1B03001 has been canceled in accordance with FAR 7.306 and 14.404-1(c)(9), and the work will be accomplished by the Government's Most Efficient Organization (MEO). No private-sector bids were received at the step-two bid opening of the two-step sealed bid solicitation. An agency-level protest and a subsequent protest filed with the General Accounting Office were dismissed. The solicitation's cancellation concludes the A-76 competitive sourcing study for the operation, maintenance and upkeep of MARAD's three National Defense Reserve Fleet Sites. The sites will transition to the MEO in the coming months.
