- Description
- This document serves as a DRAFT Solicitation Notice for SSA-RFP-04-1001. On January 3, 2003 the Social Security Administration (SSA) published an Initial Public Announcement in FedBizOpps for an A-76 Full Cost Comparison Study for Facility Maintenance (Reference Number SSA-A76-FacilityMaintenance) and on June 27, 2003 SSA published a modification to this Initial Public Announcement. The Facility Management and Operations Services under study support all operations, mechanical maintenance, repairs and miscellaneous alternation services of the infrastructure, utility systems and equipment at the SSA Headquarters Buildings located at 6201, 6301 and 6401 Security Boulevard, Baltimore, MD 21235. The incumbent service provider is the SSA, Office of Facilities Management. SSA anticipates release of a final solicitation/Request for Proposals for this A-76 Standard Competition in FedBizOpps as SSA-RFP-04-1001 on or about November 4, 2003. The SSA anticipates awarding a one year firm-fixed price contact, with four 1-year option periods as a result of the solicitation. The primary applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238220 with a small business size standard of average annual receipts of $12M over the last 3 years. The DRAFT solicitation, a DRAFT copy of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) (including multiple relevant technical exhibits) is attached to this pre-solicitation announcement. Interested parties are encouraged to review the DRAFT solicitation and other attachments and provide comments or questions regarding this announcement or the DRAFT solicitation by COB October 22, 2003.
