- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division is seeking expressions of interest in the manufacture of 20MM Mark 7 Mod 1 Ammunition Links for use in the Navy Phalanx Close-In Weapons System (CIWS). The link must be manufactured in accordance with Automated Data List (ADL) 53711-5871716M and all documentation and exceptions to documentation contained therein. Copies of the technical data package can be obtained by contacting Mr. Rick Colvin at the following email address: colvin_r@crane.navy.mil. Contractors must be registered and certified under the Joint Certification Program to receive technical data that is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act. Additional information is available at http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/. Items containing ozone depleting substances or carcinogenic materials/composition will not be considered. Responses are required to include th e firm name, mailing address, telephone and facsimile numbers, World Wide Web (Internet) presence (if any), size of firm, number of years performing related work and direct points of contact including e-mail addresses. Responses will include rough order of magnitude (ROM) pricing based upon each of the following quantity breaks: 300,000; 600,000; 1,000,000; 1,500,000; 2,000,000; and 3,000,000. If stated price breaks are deemed uneconomical to your organization, please provide alternate price/quantity breaks in a similar range. Responses will include information describing anticipated rough lead time to full production and also estimated capacity at full production levels. Only written responses transmitted electronically, or by mail will be accepted. Electronically submitted responses on CD are preferred. Responses to this announcement should be received NO LATER THAN 14 NOVEMBER 2003.
