Description
NA a. Disassemble the generator, design, manufacture, shop test, prepare and load for shipment, deliver f.o.b. destination, and unload one complete set of stator bars and all accessories specified herein. b. Remove the old stator winding and stator cores. c . Design, manufacture, shop test, prepare and load for shipment, deliver f.o.b. destination, and unload one complete set of stator laminations and vent duct spacers and all accessories specified herein. d. Restack and test the stator cores and at the opti on of the Government provide a new clamping system. e. Install and test the new stator windings and accessories specified herein. f. Replace generator rotor amortisseur winding and install new flexible shunt connectors, and clean and test the rotors. g. Furnish spare parts. h. Reassemble generator. i. Furnish manufacturer's representative on-site services to supervise the installation of the stator cores and generator stator bars and to perform start-up, commissioning, and testing of the generator. j. Replace the brake shoes, clean, inspect and test existing generator brake jacks and brake ring. k. Perform all work required to comply with the site operations environmental protection, and safety and health provisions as specified herein. l. At the opt ion of the Government disassemble the generator, design, manufacture, shop test, prepare and load for shipment, deliver f.o.b. destination, and unload one complete set of stator bars and all accessories specified herein. m. At the option of the Government , remove the old stator winding and stator core. n. At the option of the Government, rotor hub to generator shaft connection. o. At the option of the Government, design, manufacture, shop test, prepare and load for shipment, deliver f.o.b. destination, a nd unload one complete set of stator laminations and vent duct spacers and all accessories specified herein. p. At the option of the Government, restack and test the stator core and provide a new clamping system. q. At the option of the Government, insta ll and test the new stator windings and accessories specified herein. r. At the option of the Government, replace one generator rotor amortisseur winding and install new flexible shunt connectors, and clean and test the rotor. s. At the option of the Gov ernment, replace the brake shoes, clean, inspect and test existing generator brake jacks and brake ring. t. Modify rotor hub to generator shaft connection. AN ORGANIZED SITE VISIT SHALL BE HELD AT THE DENISON POWERHOUSE AT 10:00 A.M. ON NOVEMBER 6, 2003. Estimated cost range of this project is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on/or about October 22, 2003, and will be provided on Compact Disk (CD-ROM). THE NUMBER OF CD-ROMS WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE (1) PER FIRM. Plans, specifications, and planholders lists will not be provided in a printed hard copy format. Registration for plans and specifications MUST BE MADE VIA OUR INTERNET HOME PAGE at www.swt.usace.army.mil select Contracting; Current Solicitations. No phone cal ls to order please.
