NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this synopsis. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; propos als are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is AMSTAT-RO-2604 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquis ition Circular 90-46, dated 24 september 1999. The associated standard industrial classification code is 7372, with a size standard of $18.0 million. The period of performance for all renewals is October 1, 2003 through September 30, 2004. FOB Destination will apply for all deliverables. Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: i) technical capability of the service offered to meet the Government requirement and ii) price. Of ferors are advised to include a complete copy of the Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. This acquisition is rated DA-O4. The US Army Tank Automotive and Armaments Command intends to negotiate s olely with Parametric Technology Corporation, 140 Kendrik Street, Needham MA 02494-2714.
