- Description TOUR SERVICES FOR 40 PEOPLE - ANDREWS AFB, MD; 16 - 19 NOV 2003 This solicitation is issued pursuant to the authority of FAR Subpart 13.5, the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document, incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-15. This acquisition is 100 percent set aside for small business; NAICS Code: 561520; Size Standard: $6,000,000.00. Quotes are to be received by this office NLT 1630 (CST) on 14 Nov 03. Quotes can be faxed, or e-mailed to Joseph D. Tinsley, E-Mail at JosephT@littlerock.af.mil or Fax (501) 987-8119. Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): 0001 ? Provide package tour services for 40 military personnel to include: (1) All chartered motor coach pick-up and drop-off at scheduled destinations as per itinerary (ANDREWS AFB, TOUR SITE DESTINATIONS), (2) Lodging reservations at a three star hotel, or higher, in the immediate Washington D.C. area near points of interest as per the itinerary. Contractor is responsible for paying bill at checkout time. (3) Meals, as per itinerary, will be provided by the contractor. [NOTES: (1) Payment Net 30; No advance payments to be made. The Department of Labor?s Wage Determination applies to applicable service labor categories. FOB: Little Rock AFB AR 72099. Basis of Award: The government will award a purchase order based on the following requirements. Contractor must provide a detailed tour plan encompassing all solicitation and itinerary requirements. Plan must specifically identify lodging location, services, amenities, dining locations and meals. If plan is not included, proposal will be non-responsive, and will not be considered for award. Award will be made to the offeror that best meets the itinerary solicitation requirements in the judgment of the contracting officer. Consequently, award may be made to other than the lowest offeror, representing the best value to the government. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, contractor must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS.
