Description
The Department of Energy (DOE) will be issuing solicitation DE-FB01-04GC30809.000 on a Full and Open basis for legal serviced and assistance in matters involving Federal labor and employment law, pensions and employee benefits, statutory and regulatory analysis, litigation, and labor relations for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of General Counsel, in Washington D.C. The NAIC code is 541110. DOE has an requirement for labor and employment law guidance and advice on legal issues relating to DOE's defense nuclear sites and environmental restoration program, including, but not limited to, obligations and responsibilities involving labor contracts. In addition provide, legal analysis of DOE's labor obligations under section 3161 of the National Defense Authorization Act for FY 1993, 42 U.S.C. ' 72741, and assist DOE in implementing these obligation. Solicitation DE-FB01-04GC30809.000 will be available on, or about, November 7, 2003. Firms who wish to respond to the solicitation must register on DOE?s automated acquisition system entitled Industry Interactive Procurement System or IIPS. By Utilizing the IIPS system, a firm will be able to download the solicitation and submit a proposal; also the DOE can place the Award to the selected firm.
