- Description
- This procurement is a Total Small Business HubZone set-aside for the Drydock and Repair of USCGC ACUSHNET, a 213 foot medium endurance cutter, home moorage of Ketchikan, AK. Work will be accomplished during the period of 17 March through 11 May 2004, at a contractor's facility capable of drydocking the cutter. Work will include; Chain locker clean and inspect, hull plating underwater body inspect and preserve, freeboard preservation, berthing habitability upgrade, rudder work, anchor chain and ground tackle inspect and repair, superstructure preserve, misc piping repairs, vent fans overhaul, berthing ventilation upgrade, sea valve and sea strainer renewal/overhauls, anchor windlass overhaul, temporary services and drydocking. Attn Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP), offers working capital financing, in the form of lines of credit, to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
