- NA NOUN: CONVERTER, SIGNAL DA; NSN: 6620-01-337-5630, P/N: 70450-01916-103, 177 each, plus one, 100% options applicable to the UH-60 Aircraft. Approved source(s) are Canadian Commercial Corp., %CMC Electronics Inc., 600 DR. Frederick Philips Blvd., Ville Saint-Laurent, Montreal, QC H4M 2S9 (CAGE 90073) and Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., 6900 Main St., Stratford, CT 06615-9129 (CAGE 78286). F.O.B. Origin with delivery to Texarkana, TX., Receiving Bldg. 499, 10th Street & K Avenue, Texarkana, TX 75507-5000. Requ ired delivery is 25 each 330 DACA. Full screening has been completed which concluded that competition cannot be improve at this time due to a lack of sources. This item is defined on a source control or specification control drawing (SCD). No sources oth er than those shown on the SCD are known. This part is identified by the Directorate for Engineering as a Critical Safety Item (CSI). An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cogniza nt Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DOD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part the intended application. Although, by DOD-STD-100 definition, alternate and selected items shall have an adequate technical data package, data review discloses that required data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained. This acquisition contains data, which is considered critical technology and has been restricted for release outside the United States. This information cannot be released outside the United States without prior approval of the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation, howe ver, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
