Description
NA Fort Riley, Kansas is seeking potential sources(s) that are qualified Hospital Maintenance Contractors who may be interested in performing future work at Irwin Army Community Hospital, Fort Riley, KS. The prospective work does not include housekeeping. T HIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL NOR AN INVITATION FOR BID. Irwin Army Community Hospital (IACH) is a 44 bed hospital located on Fort Riley, Kansas. The work includes, but is not limited to: operation, inspection, maintenance and repair mai ntenance of elevators, automatic doors, fire alarm and suppression systems, HVAC systems, compressed gas systems, various electrical/mechanical equipment, and all utility services; exterior maintenance including replacement of windows; repair of roofs and walls, concrete work including maintenance and repair of sidewalks, steps and parking lots; grounds maintenance to include grass cutting and snow removal. All Energy Plant Facilities, including: Energy Plant Buildings, Structures, Equipment, Grounds, and S urfaced Areas; Steam Generation and Distribution Systems; Chilled Water Generation and Distribution Systems. This work would be for the Medical Command or Dental Command. Prospective contractors responding to this notice must provide the following: 1. As surance that they are familiar with and have worked with all applicable procedures, rules, and regulations of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). 2. Assurance that they are familiar with and have worked with all appl icable procedures, rules, and regulations of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). 3. Proof of Engineering and Project Management experience of their key personnel (attach resumes). 4. Proof of Business Stability and Financial Accountability. 5. Proof of at least five (5) years experience as prime maintenance providers at healthcare facilities comparable in size and scope to that of Irwin Army Community Hospital. Provide information to include: business size and any special designations i.e. Small Business, Large Business, Small Disadvantaged, Woman Owned, Disabled Veteran, etc. Include at top of submittal: Business Name and Address, Business Phone and Fax numbers, Point of Contact (POC) phone number, and POC e-mail address and CAGE Code and DUNS number (if known). ORAL RESPONSES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
