Description

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to Modify Fire Protection System at US Coast Guard Station Point Judith, Narragansett, Rhode Island. The work includes provision of a backflow preventer on the fire sprinkler system located in the station building, and extending the existing fire suppression system to the garage/repair shop, gym, loft and attic areas. The estimated cost range of this project is $25,000 to $100,000. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 10/20/2003. The date for receipt of offers is scheduled for 11/20/2003 at 4:00 pm. This solicitation is issued in accordance with FAR Part 19, and is 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable NAIS code is 238990 and the size standard is $12 million. Our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings may be accessed for download beginning on the date of issue at the following site: http://www.eps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted solely on this web site. Bidders are required to verify the number of amendments issued with the Contracting Officer prior to the bid opening date. Companies not having the capability to download solicitation documents may contact Rhode Island Blue Print, 335 Webster Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920 for a copy of the solicitation package for a non-refundable deposit.
