Description
The Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking sources capable of providing a software-monitoring product that would, on an ongoing basis, provide an automated service level monitoring, alerting and reporting capability across the enterprise. The required software-monitoring product will be installed at the National Computer Center at 6201 Security Blvd in Baltimore, Maryland. The minimal requirements are: Be compliant with Section 508; Provide a trial copy of software for 30 day test period; Include product maintenance; Identifies, alerts and reports service levels utilizing predetermined selection criterion identified by support staff; provides the capability for customization while retaining all history data; does not produce any measurable overhead or have a negative impact on service level performance; interfaces with, collects and aggregates data from existing tools including: CA-Automation Point, CA-Unicenter, IBM-Tivoli, BMC Patrol, BMC-Control-M, Argent-Guardian, Candle-Omegamon, Network SNMP and in-house Smartwatch (formerly Landmark) across IBM zSeries mainframe, IBM iSeries AS/400, HP AIX, Sun Solaris, Windows NT, Windows 2000 platforms; Maintains history data for Service Level Reporting; Provides a report generator and data aggregation for both user and resource reporting. Vendors having the capability to meet the above requirements are invited to submit complete details. The responses must clearly state the ability to meet the above requirements. Interested parties must respond to this notice within 15 calendar days from date of this publication.
