- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, California intends to procure on competitive basis, painting and coating services for BLU-116 A/B Penetrator Cases. Complete specifications will be provided with the Request For Quote (RFQ). The RFQ and all attachments will be released on or about 2nd October 03 and will be available through the 2.0 Contracts Competency home page at https://contracts.nawcwd.navy.mil/rfp-nawc.htm. This procurement is only open to contractors certified by the Defense Logistics Service (DLIS). The verification of this certification can be obtained at http://www.dlis.dla.mol/jcp. Additional information about DLIS certification is available at the website listed or by calling 800-352-3572. The due date of this RFQ will not be extended to allow time for certification by DLIS. If certification has not been completed you will not be eligible to receive the drawing package. The RFQ will close on or about 24th October, 03. This is a small purchase, small business set-aside.
