Description
NA U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) is planning to extend the lease for the High Speed Vessel (HSV-X1), under Contract DAAE07-01-D-T064 on a sole-source basis to Bollinger/Incat USA, LLC of Lockport, LA. The contract is Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), and the lease extension will include a base year and options for approximately 2 additional years. The purpose of the HSV is to demonstrate its ability to perform during certain mission scenarios, assess its usefulness to the US military and refine the requirements for the next generation of Army watercraft. The HSV will assist Logistics Support Vessels in providing critical surface movement in support of military operations. The HSV is critical for intra-theater movement of Army Repositioned Stock, and potentially troop units. During this lease period, the HSV will assist a larger effort to determine future Army Watercraft requirements. This notice is being published for subcontracting opportunities. Questions regarding this procurement should be address to Mr. Tod Miller on (586) 574-8895 or e-mailed to millert@tacom.army.mil. Please see note 22.
