It has 5 shorter lens. Of cable extending out form main len. The function of the cable is to supply highvoltage elec. Power to different engine accessories and aircraft. The materialconsists of elec. wiring, silicone tape, shrink tubing, A23B5A3 tape (pressure sensitive), AMS2473 (protective finish), B50TF3 CL-A (solder), RMA flux-MIL- C-3902 elec. connectors,and P12TF41 CL-B chaffing shields. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 26 Sep 2003. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 26 Oct 2003. The anticipated award date will be 25 Nov 2003. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. To: BAE SYSTEMS, and LABARGE INC. Request for Written Quotation will be issued. The anticipated award date will be 60 days after the issuance of this notice. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. 26. Based upon market research, the Government is not using policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
