Description
The U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development intends to make a sole source award to F. W. Dodge / McGraw Hill Construction, 1200 G. Street NW, Suite 900, Washington DC 20005 to collect and report on the development and construction pipeline of residential and commercial construction for every metropolitan and non-metropolitan area in the nation. The F. W. Dodge Pipeline Data System is an interactive data base containing data and response on the project characteristics of individual real estate developments in each of six categories (multifamily housing, housing for seniors, hotel, office, retail, warehouse). The data base tracks projects from the initial planning through the start of construction in every county in the nation. The Office of Policy Development and Research intends to use this research to conduct housing market analyses and provide market intelligence to management and program staff. The contractor is responsible for the delivery of data to 22 sites. The sole source award will be procured pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed type of contract award is a firm fixed price. The period of performance will be 12 months with four (4) 12 month option periods. Businesses that are capable of providing services should submit in writing, within 45 calendar days, an affirmative response, which includes the proposed credentials, qualifications, past experience, and any additional information indicating a bona fide ability to meet this specific requirement by e-mail to Chiara Best at Chiara_S._Best@hud.gov or by fax at (202) 401-2032. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
