- This is an announcement of the Small Business Administration?s streamlined competition for paralegal services in SBA?s district and branch offices. These offices are Concord District, Hartford District, Montpelier District, Newark District, Baltimore District, Washington D.C. District, Atlanta District, Charlotte District, Columbia District, Jacksonville District, Louisville District, Miami District, Nashville District, Chicago District, Springfield Branch, Cleveland District, Columbus District, Minneapolis District, Wisconsin District, Corpus Christi Branch, El Paso District, Houston District, Louisiana District, Lubbock District, New Mexico District, Oklahoma District, San Antonio District, Wichita District, Denver District, Montana District, North Dakota District, Utah District, Fresno District, Nevada District, San Diego District, and Alaska District.This streamlined competition will be conducted in accordance with OMB Circular A-76, dated May 29, 2003. Paralegal services in these offices (38 FTEs) are currently provided by Government personnel. This is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award a contract. Prospective offerors are advised that a solicitation will not be issued if the cost of contract performance as determined by market research is greater than the cost of in-house performance by Government personnel. If the performance decision is for private sector performance, SBA will subsequently acquire these services in accordance with the FAR. The projected end date for this streamlined competition is December 31, 2003.
