- SOLICITATION N68836 03 T 0307 IS HEREBY CHANGED TO N68836 03 R 0043. SITE VISIT: In accordance with FAR 52.237-01, Site Visit (APR 1984), a site visit will be held at Guanatamo Bay, Cuba October 30, 2003, for the purpose of inspection of the site where services will be performed. THIS WILL BE THE ONLY OPPORTUNITY THAT WILL BE AFFORDED PROPSPECTIVE OFFERORS/QUOTERS TO VISIT AND INSPECT THE SITE. In no event will failure to attend this inspect the site constitute grounds for a protest before contract award or for a claim after award. Attendance will be at the expense of the offeror. Offerors/Quoters are urged and expected to give prior notification of their intent to attend, so that arrangement may be made to expedite their entry aboard Guanatamo Bay, Cuba. The exact date and time of site visit will be provided in reply to all notifications. Notification, preferably e-mail notification, shall be forwarded to Contract Specialist, Jackie Jackson, Code 201B.JJ. All requests must be in writing and must cite the solicitation number. Requests may be faxed to (904)542-1098, Attn: Jackie Jackson, Code 201.JJ or e-mail request to fiscjax_rfprequest@jax.fisc.navy.mil. Contractors will be required to pay all travel costs associated with site visit. The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville, FL intends to procure Storage and Warehousing Support for the Naval Station Guantanamo Bay Cuba. Services consist operating the functions of receiving, receipt processing, issue processing, packaging/crating material, and inventorying, storage/warehousing. This requirement is for a one-year base period with four (4) one-year options. The NAICS code is 49310 with corresponding size standard is 21.5 Million. This procurement is unrestricted.
